Genesee Valley Has Top Hound at MD Hound Trials

Genesee Valley Nevada was the top hound overall of the 35 hounds competing after two days of trials hosted by Green Spring Valley and Elkridge Harford in Maryland. Jewett also ranked in the top five so now Genesee Valley will be represented by four hounds in the Centennial Pack (Nevada, Jewett, Countess and Coco).

While the Genesee Valley Hounds led by 100 points after the first day of hunting, Elkridge Harford inched by them the second day (when points were weighted more in the final calculation) to win the overall pack. The hounds hunted for nearly 5 hours both days!

Congratulations to our Masters, Huntsman and staff, -- and, of course, our talented hounds!

Genesee Valley Hounds Win at Millbrook
